Exhaust Manifolds

Hey gang, I need new exhaust manifolds in my 2009 DCLB. My driver's side has a hole in it and I figured I might as well just do both of them.

I anyone has used them or has a better thought I'm all ears.

 

What I've learned about cats is that a lower cost up front is directly proportional to the quality and lifespan of the part.

For our trucks, after a lot of research including talking to my exhaust guy and my trusted local mechanic about what has passed through their hands and under their eyes, I'm going to bite the bullet and buy Toyota manifolds - the labor is too expensive whether you're paying for it or doing it yourself to screw around doing it again in 30/40/50k miles, which is common with aftermarket headers with cats on these trucks, not to mention the fitment gamble getting the bargain units installed in the first place.

 

"DIY Solutions" brand. Never heard of it.

 

So what did you end up doing? Asking because I need a drivers side manifold but the two shops I’ve been to tell me they can’t find one for my truck. The one they did find and had shipped right part# but wrong manifold.
