I sometimes hear a throaty exhaust or engine noise when I am backing up. If I am on a slight slope and I hit a certain RPM (around1600) I often hear the noise.

I know that this sounds like a very unique condition however I can easily duplicate the result over and over - just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue??

    thanks

I have the same noise. I can make it happen just above idle to about 1600 rpm. The dealer says its piston slap and is normal.
