I am a noob when it comes to exhaust. I am looking to change out the stock 16 trd sport exhaust and go with a catback system. I am looking for a deep sound but nothing to loud in the cabin, I don't want an import civic sound.

What's everyone running? Opinions? Pro? Cons?

I had the flow master done. Then had dual exhaust. 1 tailpipe out each side. With stainless tips put on. Sounds nice. The flow master was single pipe in and dual pipes out. But if u are going to do duals u will need to add 2 inches to the brake lines on the left side of truck as there is a bracket where the 2 steel lines come to and they switch to flexable line. I got braided lines 2 inch longer then stock and it clears the pipe with no issue.

You should get the URD Y-Pipe and cat back and tell us how it is... ;)

I have Borla catback. It's a direct bolt on. Super easy to install. Has a deep exhaust note. Gets fairly loud at WOT, but it's not obnoxiously loud. If you're looking for somewhat quiet, I heard the TRD exhaust is not too loud. There's also some sound clips on YouTube you may want to check out.

I have a Borla muffler (40665) coming this week. Removing the oem and leaving the rest of the system as is. Had a Banks CB on my Gen 2 - the drone was off the scale - Total POS IMO. Replaced it with the same model Borla I am putting on my Gen 3. Love the tone and no drone!

Just ordered the stainless steel, Magnaflow single side exhaust with the K&N Black hawk cold air intake. I've made the mistake with prior trucks of installing s system with horrible drone. Not this time.

Update - installed. Nice low tone when using the accellerator and no drone what so ever. Makes the oem sound like a wet paper towel. Contacted Borla on orientation before install and they replied orientation and direction make no difference (no required inlet/outlet orientation and it can be mounted with the oval in the flat or vertical position). Used the oval in the vertical position, offset front top, and outlet center back. Fit and alignment with existing 2 1/2 inch system is perfect.

I've always been a big proponent of opting for a replacement aftermarket exhaust along with the cold air intake. For my 2017 Toyota Tacoma, TRD Offroad with the standard 3.5L, V-6, I ordered the stainless steel, Magnaflow, single, side exhaust with the K&N Black Hawk cold air intake. Another expensive mistake! Tried, but can't tolerate the drone when under load going up a mountain. I tried replacing the Magnaflow muffler with a little more restrictive Dynomax muffler which helped a little with the drone but not much. So now, after wasting enough money on these aftermarket parts, I'm back to either just putting the OEM parts back on the truck; or, going with the Toyota TRD exhaust and CAI ($475 CAI /$699 exhaust from the dealership) which the dealership assures me will have no drone and provided the benefits of free-flowing cold air. Just wanted to pass on my aftermarket exhaust and CAI adventure!

Cut the exhaust at the cat's. And had stainless steel pipes ran all the way back. Magnaflow Mufflers

Applause for the fact that it looks really good, and has flex couplings.

My only question is, are there no other flanges than those at the outlet of the cats?
