^^^ This. The power to money ratio of doing bolt ons on a naturally aspirated engine really isn't worth it. Forced induction is the best power to money ratio. Also, NEVER believe the power gains you read on the internet or that the manufacturers tell you. Look for REAL DYNO RESULTS. Butt dynos don't count.

Sure, but then you'll deal with any leaks down the road. Chances are good you'll need an extension pipe, and putting 2 clamps within a foot or so of each other just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Your call though.

You just need to be realistic is all. Most of the easy, low hanging performance fruit has already been picked by Toyota. If you're staying NA, you can pick up a few here and there, but it's not huge numbers. I would suspect that if you go all out NA (intake, catback, headers, Y pipe, MAF cali) you'd spend a couple thousand and get 25HP +/- a few. Again, you have to decide if the power/price curve is worth it to you.

I would venture to say 25hp is being a little too optimistic. I say MAYBE 10-15.

I have a flowmaster as well. No performance gain. If anything, it's a loss. Feels like I don't have the power I once did when I put it on. I'm thinking it has something to do with all these sensors they put in the vehicles now. Like if you modify the exhaust system it alters the flow which messes up the sensors. Does this make sense?
