I'm looking at rerouting my exhaust to come out of the side of the bed on the passengers side. I made a diagram of what the plate will look like on the side of the bed. What do you guys think? Anything in particular I need to keep in mind? Thanks! Sorry the pictures suck ass.

ive seen this done on some built trucks in my area.

i think its cool after a while cause the exhaust leaves black carbon mark down the side.

    im weird like that tho

That looks like an outlet for fluid waste.

OP, what is your reason for wanting to do this?

My only concern would be little kids leaning up against that area and getting burned. [flashbacks from getting burned myself]

More or less the same idea, but A LOT cleaner than that one. The white piece in the picture will be an aluminum plate with a riveted look around to hold it in place. The motivation for it came from a buddies truck I saw a long time ago with something similar. Looked Awesome

Thanks for the link! I like it, but want it to be much cleaner than the ones in that thread.

I think i'm gonna use 3/16 plate. So it'll stick out a little.

If you can pull it off cleanly it would be pretty sweet.
