It's so dope but I have high clearance bumper coming in and won't be able to do it.

That would be pretty easy to do. Thats just a big dead space behind that panel. Just need to weld the face plate and the outlet pipe in.

You could drill out the side of the bumper. Not sure youd want to do that, but you could.

Wouldn't the bed and the exhaust move independently of each other? Seems like this would lead to damage of the surrounding area when the exhaust tip gets forced against the sheet metal of the bed.

It’d be cooler if he had it coming out of a high clearance bumper. I’ve thought about doing that. Protects things a little better when at high angles.

No high clearance bumper needed at Forever 21 or Applebee's

Yes it's totally impractical. But does look cool

Kinda like when you see a truck on 35s and plastic bumpers; obvious sign the truck doesn't get wheeled

Been debating whether or not I should cut my exhaust for more clearance, but you guys definitely convinced me!

I know this is a long dead thread, but reviving for my own question..........

So from reading this, is it kosher to to chop my 3rd gen exhaust in a similar manor to what stun gun did here?

    TIA

I recently had the exhaust reroute done for the flat full RCI skid plates and chopped over the axle to keep it from getting torn off.

I thought I had a pic but I don’t. It’s cut on the down turn to help keep it away from the spare.

Thanks gents. I just wanted to make sure there were no fume issues, or increases in volume of the exhaust which it doesnt sound like there is much.

Not quite what you wanted but I had this installed on my 1st gen because when flexed, it would get in the way of the leaf pack. I kinda liked it better than out the side...had no issues with it...
