Exhaust pipe end height

I just had my muffler and tailpipe replaced. It appears the end of the tailpipe is too low.
How much space do you have from the tailpipe to the body?

 

Don't have a tape measure on me right now, but I reckon it's about the size of my fist turned sideways. Maybe 3-4"? Post a photo of yours so we can see.

 

I’ll measure mine later.
I couldn’t even guess. I can’t say I pay much attention to it. For all I know mine could have fallen off.

Aftermarket exhaust might not be the same.
Did it come off the last hanger?
I didn't like the tailpipe so I cut it off.

 

I was gonna say I stuck my fingers in there, so what my fore finger, middle finger, and ring finger that was from the fender flare to the top of my exhaust tip, Lmao

 

Looks like 4” to center.
