I recently smashed my tailpipe offroading...I'm in Southern California area...I'm going to bend it back down but it's going to need to be replaced. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on where I could get one second hand. Back in the day there was Pick-A-Part. I don't think they exist anymore. I'd rather avoid the Toyota Cartel unless unavoidable. Thanks for any thoughts!

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Go to your local muffler shop. They should be able to fix you up.

Pic of the damage? I'd say just hack it off anywhere after the rear axle and make it a high clearance exhaust. Problem solved :)

Also probably can find someone local with a take-off that upgraded. I couldn't give mine away after I replaced it with the MF Overland Series so I chopped it up and threw it in the bin.

Try craigslist. People upgrade their mufflers all the time and sell their factory ones.

+1. If off roading is in your future and you're going to tag that tailpipe again, just hack it off behind the rear muffler (after the clamp), install a turndown and you have an instant overland exhaust set up.

+1 for chopping it. i did the same thing-- bashed it on a rock and cut it off at the bend after the axle.

Pick-your-part junkyards do still exist, but for some reason they never have any Tacomas (some Toyota cars and older 4Runners occasionally, but not Tacos).

    I suggest try www.car-part.com.
