I'm putting a catback exhaust on my 09 dbl cab longbed. Seeing if there is a general preference for the type. I got a quote a little bit ago for $297 installed (magnaflow or flowmaster).

The biggest thing when choosing an exhaust, is to find the one YOU think sounds the best. People have different tastes in sound, and the performance diff between all of them isnt enough to really worry about.

where did you get the pricing on the magnaflow catback? i want to get rid of my flowmaster muffler. have the 50 series delta flow, but has way too much in cab drone for me on long drives. starting to give me a headache.

I like the TRD personally. They sound great and look even better. They are a bit pricey though, unless you find a new-used one.

    This.

I like my TRD. Wouldn't mind if it was a tad louder, but I'm happy with it. And the tip looks great.

I prefer the sound of Flowmasters, but it all depends on what you like. I have a Flowmaster 50 system on order and should be here mid-December.

I recently installed JBA Shorty Headers and Cat back exhaust, and I love it thus far. Sounds like a small V8 until you step on the gas, then paired with the CAI it sounds like a turbo/supercharger having a pissing contest. Gives me chill bumps, lol...

Got any exterior and interior sound clips of this setup? everybody has longtubes, but when I had them on my auto 07 truck with a trd it was deafeningly loud. Im hoping the shorty headers with the cats welded on will make it sound good but not too loud....
