I am doing some work on my exhaust and have a question about the intermediate pipe diameter. The dynomax muffler I'm waiting to have installed has an inlet diameter of 2.25".... their (dynomax) intermediate pipe napa sells has an outlet diameter of 2.25". The intermediate pipe autozone sells, made by Walker I believe, has an outlet diameter of 2".
--- Do I want my intermediate pipe outlet diameter to match the inlet diameter of the muffler, or do I want to go with the smaller 2" intermediate pipe so it sits inside the 2.25" muffler inlet??

    thanks
