Exhaust Reroute LA/OC Area

Does anyone have a shop to in the south LA OC Long Beach area to recommend for the exhaust Rerout? I took it down to Long Beach muffler and they quoted me over $500. That seemed ridicules to me.

 

Finally got the exhaust done. Went to Lous Muffler in Hawaiian Gardens. This guy is good! You know your at the right place when there is several pristine classics and hot rods being worked on... He cut out all the 1-3/4 and replaced it with 2-1/2 made a proper Y pipe and its all tucked up higher than the frame rails. Definatlly less restriction with this setup compared to factory.

Rods Muffler in Capo Beach is amazing. He is the nicest most honest guy you will meet and I highly recommend him. And coming from someone who is always leary of mechanic, body shops, etc.

 

It doesn't look like he left you any provisions for removing the exhaust when you need to.

 

The only only joint removed was the one after the collector going in to the tail pipe. I really don't see much need to remove the tail pipe anyway. To keep in would have reduced the system back down to 1-3/4 inch. It was $275 OTD
