I am replacing my entire exhaust system, should I go CARB or EPA? Or does it really matter if I don't plan on moving to Kaliforniastan or any of the other CARB required states? And no, my cats are still attached.

    2006 Prerunner 4.0 V6 450k miles.

If you don't plan to move to any of the (15) CARB states then you only need to meet EPA standards.

PS - grats on 450k miles, well done wow.

I decided to get CARB compliant upstream cats and EPA compliant downstream cats as the upstream are the only ones monitored by the ECU.

I'll post how they work after I install the system.
