Exhaust system

I recently just go my tacoma 02 and i want a exhaust system in it. im looking at a flowmaster 40 series... but i cant seem to find the whole kit just parts like the muffler and and the catback. i was wonder if anybody knows how to get a hold of this or if they even have it around.

 

Not sure what exactly you want. Headers, midpipe, no cats?? A cat-back system is the most common exhaust upgrade. It is easy and will increase performance and sound nice. It keeps the cats so you don't get a CEL or fail smog inspections. Flowmaster doesn't make one for the taco. You would have to cut out the muffler and weld in a flowmaster.

 

If your looking for Flow-master, they won't sell an entire kit I don't think. But I believe Gibson, of Magnaflow makes an entire exhaust system for the Tacoma. If you go the Flow-master route, I have the 40 Series muffler, and love the sound that it puts out.

 

i wanna get the sound and performance what should i be looking for or at?

 

Assuming you have a v6, the TRD cat-back system will sound loud and good when you rev hard, and quiet when cruising. Most others will always sound loud in the cab. Here you go man. This is what I am running, and no offense to you guys running Flowmasters, but the Gibson is a much deeper tone.
