Hey guys I was thinking. Since chris4x4 said I would lose a few horses, I'm now thinking of getting an intake system for my engine. Maybe like a K&N unit, not just the replacement filter for the stock system but the whole 9. Is there anything that would compliment my Flowmaster exhaust system, you know, something that would work good together and give me back some more horsepower?

Yeah I already have that. Thanks though, talked to a person that installed the same system and they gave me some info and tips so I think I'm good! ;)

Haha! This guy!!! Well i just checked out TRDParts4U.com and it said that putting the cold-air intake may affect my warranty. Is that for K&N intakes as well? Which one is the better intake anyways?

They say it will affect the warranty, as most of the intakes remove the charcaol filter, which is part of the emissions system.

I wouldn't worry about it. Per Magnusson-Moss, they'll need to prove that any failure was the result of removal of the charcoal filter. Furthermore, all of the CAI's that I've seen remove it and I would think that would leave those manufacturers open to liability if there were a problem so I highly doubt one would arise.

Now will the Flowmaster cat-back exhaust system affect my warranty?
