Well I got my TRD CAI this morning and installed it as well!!! Took a little longer then I expected but everything went pretty smoothly. I'll tell you what though, it feels like it takes off a lot faster then before and sounds great too!!! It also makes my Flowmaster sound a little more meaner! I'm just hoping it helps out on MPG. Here's a picture. YEAH I know, I gotta clean my engine bay here real soon!!!

If done correctly, the supercharger isnt going to have a negative effect on the engine. Only when high boost is acheived, with no other mods does it begine to affect the engine. Toyota engines are particularly strong, haveing forged crancks and Conn rods, as long as you dont have a "lean out" condition and burn a piston, 8 psi on a reg. basis isnt going to hurt it.

Could be. I hear the same thing, But My boosted 2000 is still running today, and it has almost 160,000 miles on it. And I beat it like it owed me money. If done right, there should be no issue. ;)

I installed the Magnaflow stainless cat back and I absolutely love it! It has a few key features that make it ideal for Tacoma's- First is that it installs in about 45 mins. I put the kit on start to finish in my driveway with minimal tools in less than a hour. The kit comes with stainless steel exhaust clamps and hangers that make it easy to install. Unlike the Flowmaster systems- Magnaflow is a straight through muffler unlike the flowmasters multiple baffles and chambers that create restricting backpressure. The best thing about the Magnaflow is the sound! Its got a deep aggressive tone when accelerating but doesnt drone on the freeway at low RPM's. Nothing is worse than a 3 hour truck ride at 2,000 RPM's and your ears are begging you to pull over! I noticed instand power and mapped a 3 MPG fuel decrease after installing the system.

We are running a special on the 4.0L stainless steel cat back system
for The 2005 and newer Tacoma 4.0L Trucks-

    Check it out for yourselves!

Yeah, I bought it about a month ago, played with the idea of selling it but didn't get any reasonable offers so I'm installing it when I do my lift the weekend of the 14th.
