    Ok I know this is an older thread, but those of you with the factory black chrome exhaust tip, how has it held up? Living in MN with the winters and all the salt and such I'm afraid it will be a mess and not worth the money.

    Mine has been on for a few years in New England weather. It still looks good. However, it is pitted at its very bottom. The pitted area is not visible unless you are under the truck. So, it’s not a problem YET. Who knows how it will will end up looking.

    I have the Black Chrome Tip and I have NOT noticed any pitting...maybe dis-colorization but I'd have to take recent photo. It's been installed since May/Jun 2021.

    Here's how it looked after 1 winter. Mind you mine is the the full TRD exhaust with the tip welded on. Not sure if the slip on one is any different.
