Why do a pair of 12 inch tips cost as much as a new muffler? They are priced at like $30 a piece. Maybe since they are in huge demand?

Well I asked a guy at the muffler shop he says they constantly go through them because people want them replaced from blemishing and rust etc, and not to mention people coming in for a new exhaust.

I cut it right after the axle so you can't see any piping at all unless you climb under the truck.
