    It's a V6, I'd just spend elsewhere.

Don't straight pipe, I've been there, done that. Just get a manufactured exhaust kit, it'll sound better.

Best bet is to get the TRD exhaust from Toyota. It sounds better than the stock exhaust and won't make your sound like a ricer.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
You trying for the pissed off lawnmower sound? Just get an aftermarket catback exhaust.

you can spend 60 bucks on a muffler weld it on and it will sound the same as a 600 dollar cat back fyi.

Back in the day my friend had a 57 Chevy with headers and right after the headers 3 inch straight pipe all the way to a couple inches past the back bumper . He used to jump beer bottles with it what a blast . That was then this is now for me and quiet is good .

    That'll do it.

What *we* think doesn't much matter now does it?

Just have enough funds available to do the work at least 2x in case either you or your LEOs don't find it pleasing.

BTW, it will sound like poo. Loud should sound good and have the muscle to back it up. Tacoma's have neither. Even when they have a scoop.
