exhUst leak does it affect mpg's

    I have a 2002 2.7 it's got an exhaust leak can that affect my fuel mileage?? And what's everyone doing to get the most hp and mpg's out of there 4cyl

    icon stage 10 kit, toytec 1" bl, 35" general x3s, 17x9.5 procomp wheels, locker anytime mod, s&b intake, blackhawk 2.1 tune,
    If the leak is before the upstream o2 sensor it can read lean making the actual fuel ratio rich affecting mpgs. After the sensor its probably not gona do much.
