i will be installing full OME kit (884s) next weekend, probably Saturday morning. Will be letting it sit until Monday then heading to 4 wheel parts for alighnment. I would like for the springs to have settled as much as possible before then. What's the best way to make sure it settles? I thought about parking for a few hours on ramps on front right and rear left tires? Then switch?

Do you just want them settled so that your alignment doesn't need to be redone?

I wouldn't stress about it too much. I put on 885s and had it aligned the next day. 4,000 miles later and my alignment is still spot on.

Good to hear, thanks. I've got 884s coming tomorrow but I think they are the same spring rate, just shorter.

Yep, that's exactly right! Good luck with the install. It's pretty easy, especially on new trucks like ours where nothing is rusted.

yeah i am new to lifting IFS but I have a buddy helping, cant be that much harder than the jeeps im used to. I'm planning to pull the top overload spring on the Dakars and hope to retain the factory rake.

Are your coils and struts already assembled?

No, I bought from wheelers, and it would've been $136. I didn't think all of my factory washers and bushings would be that worn out since it is a 2015.

I followed this, and part 2 and it was so damn easy. I didn't bother taking out the top hat and checking it since it's a new truck. This is was easier and safer than dealing with a spring compressor.

This is the spring compressor I'm using. At least a little safer than the ones that you have to use a bolt on each side.

Well just be safe! I'll never mess with one of those.
