    Hey there,

Narrowing in on the Expedition Essentials track mount. The additional bracing using the head unit mounts seems to be a more solid/stable mount than for example the Tacogarage DMM or 67 Designs. Lots of extended washboard/fire road, so sustained vibrations. I have a DMM which has served well, but tends to wobble a bit. The EE option looks beefier.

    Is this the case?

And anyone know what to expect for response times? I left an inquiry with EE directly on Monday. Not that I can't wait, but I was expecting a response by now. Thoughts?

As for what'll be on the track mount - up to 2 phones and small VHF radio, so about 3 to 3 1/4 lbs with balls, arms and the devices.

    Any input appreciated!

Do you have a Taco Garage DMM right now or some other one and if so, which one?

Hey - I have a DMM right now, just haven't installed it new truck. It was pretty good in the previous truck, just started to get a bit shaky on extended rough roads.

I ordered the mount on 1/6 and got it on 1/30. Ordered misc ball mounts and such 2/1 and received them on 2/6. I think that it was quick on the mounts and about average on the mount panel. Haven’t really put it to the test yet but it seems solid.
