    Sound?
    Performance?
    Additional mileage?
Possibly a bit of all the above

I'd say NONE; except <$90> and wasted time installing - and wasted time from everyone unfortunate to have clicked on this farce.

There are far more useless mods that are regularly done here than this. If the OP likes it, then it was a mod that was well worth the money.

Are you talking about the resonator? I have no first hand experience in this but my Google searches say removing it generally decreases power due to pressure wave harmonics reducing cylinder fill.

Right?! Its funny some are being so butt hurt about this, no one made a claim to more power, and to the contrary most of the feedback is about the increased sound..... OP basically said it was an experiment.

The kid in me wanted a bit more induction noise since I'm not a fan of the V6 exhaust sounds; so I ordered the intake tube and vent fitting from K&N for $47.68 shipped to my door. Another $20 for silicone connectors and we're in business. It does exactly what a $400 cold air intake does for significantly less money: a bit more induction noise

Being a manual makes it a bit more entertaining since I can WOT at any given speed and not have to downshift to play around with noise.
