    Just a repost to keep the updates here... The more I looked at the TRD exhaust tip after I changed bumpers the more it stuck out like a sore thumb. I cut the thing off and hat a local shop weld up a high clearance pipe in it's place. Sounds a little different but I like it better without it.

    Thanks. Actually it's Herculiner. I had surface rust and painted the frame a year or so ago and the surface rust came right back. I had good luck with the herc on my Jeep YJ tub so I spent a weekend prepping and Herculining the entire frame and axle, lower control arms, etc. It was horrible but the prep was done right. Its held up perfectly and is super tough.

    x3. Can you explain for us the difference in sound? I have been going back and forth with the idea of just chopping it versus welding the TRD tip back on. :notsure:

    The tone hasn't changed but I can hear it a little louder in the cab. He top is a Extra Vision model with the roof reinforcements for a commercial rack- it was $2150 installed. I'll need a 10 ft garage door to fit the Sportsmobile but the others shoehorn in!

    what you got on there lift wise? no code words please lol im not down with the slang yet, like all the brands and what not. thanks!


    im wanting to do like a 3inch lift all the way around and dont know what to do. nothing to major expensive, was thinking bilsteins idk

    Mine is an Old Man Emu lift, 886 springs in front with a OME Dakar leaf pack in the rear with OME matching shocks all around. I have Total Chaos upper control arms as well and a custom double cardan driveshaft by Tom Woods to eliminate vibrations.
