good to hear its a good ride. that is my personal dilemma. Need to carry more weight but love the ride of the BOSS and dont want to give that up and thats why im thinking of the Hellwig's but if the Dakar's is a nice ride probably should go that rout. Anybody out there not like the ride of their Dakars?

I have Dakars with a shell and they ride awesome, unless a person has no load or an extreme load I feel anything else is a compromise. this is my 3rd set on different trucks. If you decide to go this route you will very likely be able to sell your pack on here to recoup some of the cost, something to consider.

So like I stated above I think I'm just going to go with new leaf packs and do it this winter. In the meantime I have one last trip planned and it will be all Interstate driving and a graded dirt road to a campground. Any reason I should not drag the trailer out with the saging leafs as they are now? I have stock bump stops.

I think it will be fine before I upgraded my leafs I regularly carried over heavy loads/towed...no biggie maybe try and balance the trailer a little more. still with the majority of weight in front of the axle of course.
