We are finally getting snow in NY southern tier and i was wondering if anyone has done anything to keep snow and ice out of their trifecta's buckles to free them up if needed to fold the cover.

Do you mean the plastic pieces on the outside by the cab that take the straps?

If I thought I was going to use the bed for something large enough to fold it up just take it off.Only takes a couple minutes or if you have it on and need it just pour a little warm water on the buckle if it has ice in it.I don't think you will have a ice problem anyway but they sure can get covered with snow.
