    Greetings all,
Just installed a Trifecta cover. Seems very tight, but on the highway the tarp seems to flap a lot. The actual edges seem secure looking in the side mirror so it’s just the canvas. Is this normal? I have never had a cover before so I am a total newbie. I think I’m being paranoid but NH has a secure load law so even if no one gets hurt a passing trooper could still ruin my day if it comes off!

Ok thanks, I’ll check to see if I have a tensioner in the AM. I tried using the search function to see if anyone else had posted on this, but in a TW newbie so I may need to try again.

The soft tri-folds will often have more movement than the soft roll up covers will due to the design. It's hard to say if what you are experiencing is normal (since we can't see it first hand) but typically the Extang Trifecta is a great quality cover.

The search function takes some getting used too. You could try search TW via Google. Example: extang trifecta tacomaworld.
    Also, Welcome to TW.

Ya I know I’m asking you to coach the game from the locker room here. But if I drive up 93 filming my cover I’ll definitely meet some troopers!

Yep, my Extang does the same. (And so have all my previous ones). I wouldn't worry unless it looks loose when stopped.

See! I’m feeling better already! Not only do I like my Tacoma more than the F150, the forum folk are much cooler!
