I want to replace the battery terminals connectors so I can run a 0 awg to my winch. The positive side wires are a little too short to use the new terminal connectors. What's the normal way to do this?

I opened up the little plastic box right below the battery and re-routed the cable to the battery. Had to cut an opening out of the plastic box. It fit well. The neg cable is long enough.
