Put it in the bed. Then you can brush snow off the driver's door before opening it

Move south, you won’t need it or I put mine behind the drivers seat usually or in the bed under the cover.

I have one of these and I put it behind the front seats with the square "Brum" end sitting vertically on the WT Floor Liner behind the driver. It works great. I can pull most of the snow on the roof (double cab) back into the bed with about four sweeps. I have a $1.29 Wally-World el-cheapo scraper-brush with a S-hook hanging from the side tie-down on the bed for touch ups and the driver's door. If someone steals it I figure they needed it more than I do.

On the floor in the back. I have a full coverage Husky liner back there and it easily contains the meltage.

WOW thank you all for the responses and ideas. I think I am going to try putting it in the bed, if that doesn't work then I'll try cutting it and putting it in the glove box. Putting it behind the seat I find it is just in the way for me using that area. Thank you all for the help. :)

I don't get how you cut it and put it in glove box.
    Mine is like this.
    It's 3 ft at shortest , extends to 4 1/2 ft
If you cut it how do you put it together to use?
You'd have to grind it up in a shredder to fit in glove box
    Where do y'all live?
doesn't seem like in snow country

^You want a brush. Those foam snow-pushers don't conform to irregularities on the surface (sharkfin antenna, roof rack, wiper arms...). I use a snowbrush with telescopic handle but straight head to get into the tighter areas around the wiper cowl. With the handle collapsed, it fits next to the passenger seat as I pictured:

100% with you on this! Mine is held towards the tailgate with a bungie cord. 58" expandable Snow MOOver (Amazon) works great.

These work good too. Both the brush and the scraper on the one I have can be rotated to different positions in either direction as well. I use it mostly for scraping frost off the windshield which isn't that easy on a 4x4 Tacoma.
