Hey fellas I'm totally confused on whether extended brake lines are needed or not

Planning on getting a 5100s, 885, JBA UCA, and medium Dakars lift. Do I need to extend my brake lines? Only rear or both front and rear?

Will be taking my truck offroad.

    Thank you I'm advance

    I have a 4” lift
You can get by without replacing them, fronts may be a little Tight when suspension is all extended

My guess is you'll want it for the rear, but not the front. From my readings, the fronts should be more than long enough for extended length travel. I ran 885's on the front without extended lines, off-road and was fine. When I switched to my Icon RXT leaf pack, it was recommended to run extended lines. So I did and installed the Crown lines offered through Headstrong Offroad.

On my 2nd Gen lift (Icon stage 8 extended travel) I went with 1" extended fronts/4" back Crown lines from Headstrong Offroad. When i checked the front at full droop / full wheel lock the oem lines were stretched to the max. 1" extended gave it some slack... anything over that could be too long and possibly get caught up in the coils.

I went with +2 in the rear (~3” lift)
