extended cab jump seats compartments

Is there a carpet/mat that goes in the small compartment under the jump seat behind driver's seat?

I have one into the passenger side compartment, but not into the smaller driver's side compartment.

I'm not talking about the covers/lids, I have them. I am talking about the small carpet that goes on the bottom of the compartment, covering the floor

If there is indeed a carpet, can anyone give me a picture and the measurements so I'll make one?

On my 04, it's just metal under there. Does yours match the carpet in the cab?

Hmm.i wonder if mine were removed before I bought the truck.

 

Don't think mine has carpet on the driver's side. The jack is in there.

 

The driver's side compartment does not have carpet. It should have a bracket that is used to secure the jack in it. After that there isn't much room left.

 

I don't remember having carpet in the passenger's side either. but then again I did lay down sound deadening material the first year I bought it so

 

Nothing in either of mine. But I'm the third owner, so who knows.

 

Original owner of a 2003 X-Cab and both of my compartments are carpeted. I can get those measurements for you this evening.

 

As others said, I think it's because that's where the bottle jack and tire change kit go. I had a '97 5 lug, and that's how it was.

No need for fancy carpet when you just have a jack in there. It would be a good spot to put some more sound deadening material, though...
