No. They didn't even look in the box. That employee was being a jerk. I've warrantied their axles 5 times already with literally no issues.

Damn, breaking on 33's and no crawl box, think I'll skip these. I've only broken one OEM bound up on 35's with the front locked.

These are good axles if you just want a spare. But they're definitely inferior to OEM.

Hey there, I found this thread and hopefully can get an explanation as to why this extended travel CV axle won't fit manual hubs. As far as I can see and understand (I'm still learning so I'm seeking an answer, not a roast session) the only difference is the hub is always engaged with automatic locking hub, then with manual, it is disengaged from the CV until you turn the dial to 4×4; which in that state is the same as auto locking hub right???? Sadly I can't find any extended travel CV axles for manual hubs. I too really admire this advantage in more articulation since I got a pretty lifted front end.

the ADD and manual hub CVs have a different spline count at the wheel hub end, which is why they aren’t interchangeable.

Like @Wulf said the outer splines are different.

I've come to the same conclusion as other guys above and I'll just continue using the "boot slide" mod on OEM CV axles. All other axles will likely be inferior unless you're talking RCV or something... and then you'll just break your front differential which is more expensive of a repair.

These axles have been pretty good to me so far. I've been running mine for 2 years now and no issues. I like the they don't bind at full droop. I'm running a front locker and almost 35's . I also try not to let the front get bound up or shock loaded. Maybe I'm just lucky. But my experience has been positive.
