Extended travel rear shocks

Does anyone make a direct a replacement extended travel rear shock for our trucks? When I look for mid travel stuff it always comes up with coilovers. Thanks everyone

 

Most aftermarket shocks are extended travel, if you're comparing to stock. Go to any site and look at the specs. Wheeler's Offroad is a good place to look (and buy). Look at compressed length and extended length, then compare to stock. Wheeler's has the old style OME shocks on sale and they ride super plush on and off road.

 

Buy replacements for a TRD Pro / Baja .....gain about an inch more droop travel from the same length shock as stock

 

The problem is collapsed lengths needed for the stock shock placement / mounts doesn't let you get a shock with much more than 10in of travel. The longest rear shock I have found for stock mounts on the frame / axle is the ome n182 rear shock. 10.2in of travel and it won't bottom first before hitting the bumpstop.

 

OME 60066L. Valving is nearly identical to tacoma application specific shock. stem is thicker, you might have to drill out the mount a little? and the bottom busing is different but you can get that as well. collapsed length is almost 16 though so make sure you can accommodate that. should work with dakar and super bumps.
