Are there any deals out there, I don’t want like 3rd party one. Any thoughts.Thank you in Advance for your time.

I have the Toyota Platinum. I've used it a few times. Just like the factory warranty. I know it doesn't cover the seat covers, or lights. Not sure what else. But I did have my front diff, brake master cylinder, and a front wheel bearing covered with ZERO issues.

    Extended warranty is one thing

    Extended service agreement is another.

    Not sure which you want.

The warranty should only be bought thru Toyota.

I'd never buy a service agreement.

I bought mine from Jerry. 10 year/125000 mile. 0 deductible. You have to purchase it before the 3/36 expires. This a Toyota warranty.

Some more info about 'Jerry' might help someone shopping.

    Location, phone, website. Something.

I bought my initial one when I purchased my truck, and then again, when that extended warranty was about to expire. SO IF you get one, pay attention to when it is about to expire. Once it does, it will be more expensive to get it again.

I bought my truck used with 25,000 miles and bought an extended warranty from an aftermarket company at the dealership as part of the deal, warranty worked great had a few things covered, including the timing cover leak negotiated discount as part of the deal. My only suggestion is never pay full price for a warranty because they can be discounted heavily.

Call Jerry Johnson...He's on Vacation this week, I had called him this past Monday..He was nice enough to answer my questions (WHILE ON VACATION)
He quoted me $1,750 for 10 year 125,000 Platinum.

Told me he'd call me early next week once he's back to work.

Im debating if I need 125,000 or 100,000. I have 13,760 on my 22, it is not driven daily...I would have to average 15,860 miles per year for the 125,000 warranty.
I can't see me driving thst much...the 10 years will be up before I hit that many miles.

Only buy the Toyota warranty through a Toyota dealer. Companies like car shield and whatever else generic names they have are a joke. I wrote service most of my adult life. Hated battling on behalf of my customers against “Aftermarket” warranty companies.

That’s good info. I emailed 2 weeks ago and called and left a VM @ his office last week and haven’t heard a peep back. I’ll give him another ring next week if I still haven’t heard anything.

The thread below has all his information. I’ve been unable to reach him the past 2 weeks, but I haven’t tried his cell which is listed in there somewhere. He’s highly recommended here and I’m not in a huge rush so I’ll wait it out. He offers genuine Toyota Platinum warranties.

    Too few to list.
With the many vehicles we owned over the years, when something breaks and need replacement it usually within the 3yr/36m bumper to bumper warranty. When things fail over 100K mark, typically lack of maintenance but that’s just my experience. People buy warranties for peace of mind, it all comes down to how you take care of your vehicles and how much your peace of mind cost.

I look back at my invoice for my after factory warranty zero deductible six years 60,000 miles cost me $2025 out the door I put $4500 worth of repairs against that warranty so my roll of the dice worked out. But you are correct in saying it’s peace of mind. That’s why I almost always buy some type of warranty for my vehicles. By the way, I bought this used car warranty because my truck already had 25,000 miles on it.

Get Toyota Platinum, thru Jerry. That's what I will do this fall.
I have under 12K miles on my 2022 (had 4, now 3 cars and 2 drivers in the family, hence low mileage on Taco).
If my rear coolant bypass ever leaks, warranty will pay for itself.

Only if that 'ever' falls within the warranty period.

Or maybe you sell before the warranty is up?

Looking at the failure threads on TW, they all happen well within the 10 years/100K miles, ie the extended Platinum warranty.
