:mad:Toyota dealer here in Ocala yesterday I called them because my front drive shaft came from underneath the drivetrain and the dealer looked up my truck and said yes, it has the 5-year/100,000 mile extended warranty. I towed in to Toyota becuase of what the dealer said. This morning he calls me and says oh, the previous owner canceled the extneded warranty and now you will have to pay around $1,300.00 + plus for repairs, towing and etc. How can one day he verify it has the warranty and then when I "pay" to tow it there it does not. Now I will have to "pay" to tow it out of there and do all the work myself. Something is not adding up here, please help me on getting this work under the extended warranty I was told i had???????

Also, does anyone have a copy of their extended warranty they could scan and send me in a private message by chance? I moved a few months back and all my paperwork I took to my Parents storage unit and my Mother is willing to look for it but was hoping to have something to know what to look for since there are is a plethora of parperwork in my car file.

Just because it is transferable, doesn't mean it was transferred.

Also... if it's a front drive shaft... why can't you just drive it in 2wd mode? Did it cause other damage?
