So bought a set of these bad boys in the 0 offset variant (matte bronze FWIW): https://www.falconoffroad.com/products/t2-matte-bronze

Brought it to Discount Tire this morning and it wasn't until after the tires and TPMS were installed that it was realized, the aftermarket lug nuts ALSO sold by Falcon (and were recommended/confirmed by Falcon to fit on these wheels), did not have enough engagement with the factory studs:

The lug nuts were only turning 5 times before bottoming out (1.5mm x 5 = 7.5mm) and industry standard is minimum thread engagement = thread size. Therefore M12 --> 12mm / 1.5mm = 8 turns.

I called Falcon after and they said they have people running their wheels with their lugs (at 5 turns) and have not heard of any issues but this seemed a little skeptical..

While I wait for the extended studs to ship, anyone here have experience here that could be shared?Screen Shot 2022-09-13 at 7.34.21 PM.jpgScreen Shot 2022-09-13 at 7.34.55 PM.jpg

I am also having the same issue with my T7 wheels. Only getting 6 turns and my shop won’t put them on my truck because of liability which is understandable. Thought about getting longer studs but I feel that will cost more\time doing that then just returning the wheels and getting something different that fits ET lugs.

Also heard some people take a 5/8” bridge reamer and drill the stud holes on the wheels bigger to fit ET lugs so they can achieve more turns.
