Looking to buy a 2015 Tacoma
Hey there (everyone who contributed to this thread),
Thanks so very much for all the work you've put into this via testing, research, trial/error and for posting your results. It helped me GREATLY when it came to mounting aftermarket U.S. Mag Indy 101 wheels on my 2015 Tacoma. Yea...I like that older 70's style wheel for sure and lucked out finding out that you can get blanks drilled to fit a Taco's bolt circle. I did that, sat on em for a year or so as life went by but always wanted to do something fun with the color-vs- Black or stock so after seeing a prototype wheel American Racing showed off at SEMA a few years back- I did it for real( American Racing never offered this color combo for their AR969s when they were making em to fit Tacos( I'd stilll like to find a set of the Satin Blak ones with the fake bead lock look). I tested and tested but end of the day and to get my U.S. Mag Indy 101s to work- I had my mechanic use the Dorman 610-463 studs for all but 2 or three which he used the ARPs so I managed to save a buck on that. I also had to get some 4mm spacers and open-ended spline style lugs from Gorilla. Tires are nothing aggressive as this is a daily driver so Bridgestone Duelers from Walmart.com(pickup in store) were a good price but otherwise- I'm so HAPPY with my wheel/tire combo. Would I like them to not hang out as much- sure but they are not too bad and not have the resources to make my own custom wheels- this is not a bad compromise. Again- thank you all especially Articdc5 for starting this conversation. I attached some before/after shots.

Stock with a camper shell for now.
Some good information for later on down the road when I decide on some wheels
