    Well I am going to hide my amps from eyes view in my Blazer, yeah I know it's not a Tacoma, still need to know this one. I have 3 computer power box fans I took out before my older brother tossed out what he didn't need one day.

    - Sunon 12v dc 2.0w
    - Kingmot 12v dc 0.23A
    - Sanyo Denki 12v dc 0.13A (the label is somewhat scratched, best I could read off of it).

    My cousin suggested using a relay but doesn't know how I would supply power to the relay and in turn the fans. Anyone ever hook up comp fans to help cool amps?

    I'm not too knowledgeable on that type of wiring but here is what I think you'd do. You'd hook up the relay to accept a signal from the amp remote turn on lead. So that when the amps are triggered the amp fans turn on. Not too sure how you'd do that though. My experience with relays is quite limited.

    lol, that's how I was told long ago, but from what I have been told now, it's wrong. If I do that the amp will go to protection mode. Got a run down of what I should do, lol it was easier than I thought. I just need to run the power from batt (I am putting a 5A inline fuse), ground to batt/somewhere metal and use the remote off the radio, but since I have the stock one, I will be using the radio fuse in the fuse box inside. Hopefully this won't look ugly. :(

    Yeah man, that's what I meant. The amp remote turn on is the wire that comes from the radio telling the amp to turn on. Are we talking about the same thing? Little blue/white wire?
