I have a 2nd Gen Tacoma and I had to replace the Stereo Head Unit. I went with a Jensen CAR710W. I really like the quality for the budget price, but I can’t seem to find a decent external microphone that works with it with road vibration and especially when off road. Even just dirt roads. I’ve fine through several and no one can hear me over the rattles, vibrations ,squeaks and aging sounds of my truck. Has anyone found a good affordable solution for this problem? Ever the air from the vents send to interfere with them. I just want to be able to use the blue tooth on the stereo for phone calls. Instead of my headphones! Thank you in advance.

I used this mic for my install (OEM) navigation radio. It's an OEM accessory from a Scion. I have no one complaining about sound quality when I make a call. It's mounted right above my steering wheel.

Thank you. I’ll see if I can find a 3.5 mm jack adapter.
