These is a good chance I will order one of the 45s to go with my 20 & 65 before the weekend's up. Do you ever wish you would have gone with the 35 or the deeper 50???

I felt the 35 was too small for my needs and they only thing kept me from getting the 50. Was I wanted the wider top of the 45. I strap it down to raft frame an use it has a casting platform. So the little wider was better. image.jpg

How do you like your hopper? I have a tundra 45 and am looking for something a little smaller and softer to take in the car.

I love it, keeps ice for long enough. I only really use it for short outings, the roadie is a bit too big to lug in and out all the time, so the hopper is a good compromise.

Agreed. After having the Roadie for a couple years, I'd say the 35 would be the minimum I would ever want. I might sell my Roadie. Would be a badass lunchbox for someone working construction or something, but too small to serve as a camping cooler, and too heavy to carry around for a day of tailgating. It does work well for an in-cab cooler during long road trips though!

Lol, that's the only way I use mine. I'll put a couple ice packs, drinks and snacks, and it's good to go for a road trip. But other than that, it is kinda useless as the volume inside is way too small. My buddy got a 45, and I think it is probably the best size overall if you only need/want one cooler.

I ordered a RTIC 45 and tumbler the other day. Got the tumbler but unfortunately it's going to be a while until I get the 45 due to backorder.

Can't really complain since it's half the price

I bought an 26 quart Ozark Trail one that is built like the high performance Yeti/Rtic, etc. coolers. I have looked online everywhere for it but cant find it anywhere (Not even on the Walmart site). Paid $96 for it. Has the gasket inside, a metal bottle opener, Rubber latches to pull down to seal it, and a metal handle just like the smaller Yeti. Its built really well. I just don't know if I can justify paying $96 for a cooler for me so I'm going to try it and see how it works out. Says it holds ice for 4.5 days. If not, the great thing about Walmart is they take anything back lol.
