For those following along and/or watching and planning on purchases.
The RTIC 45's are still an end of May ship. I've contacted customer service in regards to availability.

The Vibe Element 45's and 65's in Desert won't be back in stock until June.

So unless you want white, the choices are getting more limited.

I may just have to settle on something else if I want it before my event on 30 Apr.
Shame, as I'd prefer the RTIC pricewise. Not sure about the Coleman Sportsman as a choice but that's about the only one available in the next 2 weeks. :annoyed:

You can get a pelican 45 on eBay for around the same price.. Probably a few bucks more... I would have gone that route but they don't fit under the tonnuoe.

My pelican 45 was 225 or so, and Amazon got it to me in two days.

Im thinking about building something because the ones I use are 140 to 160 quarts. Premium coolers that size costs a pile of cash even if I was to go with an RTIC. To be honest I couldn't care less if its rotomolded and has a premium manufacturers label so welded aluminum with an annular space full of insulation will do. If I could find a deal on Aerogel that would be ideal.

I picked my Pelican 45 up off Amazon for $207 Prime a year ago. Great cooler!

Starting at $260+ now unfortunately. Plus not fitting under the Tonneau Cover is a no-go for me.

I received this a few minutes ago. It was scheduled to come in on the last week of May. I'm really excited and can't wait to try it out.

Upgraded to the TRD 17" rims and added weld on rock sliders with Bed coat material, Billsteins in the front set at 1.75, tinted windows.
Academy has the Magellan for 199.00 (50QT). Borrowed my neighbors last Sept. during a BBQ cookoff here in Tx. we only put 2 bags of ice in it all weekend and it was 90+ . Had to dump ice out of it on sunday, we were in and out of it all weekend and we got there Friday. These things are tuff and Academy has all the replacement parts for it. Im buying one.

Nice. I used mine maybe a month ago but it was just one day/night. Kept stuff cold the rest of the week in my garage though with what got left in it.

I have found it mostly depends on what ice you use and how much you put in fill it up to the top with good ice expect at least 5 days
