"extreme" or high end coolers

Something will be here tomorrow.
So excited ! Just got a shipping notification from UPS. Hope to get a good review of this bad boy up during the next month.

Exactly why I got it. So someone could hate.

 

Does it glow in the dark? Would be awesome for finding the cooler at night to grab another beer.

 

I liked my yeti the first time I bought. Which I only got because of my finders fee I got for referring a couple people to buy Toyotas. That I went and got a seafoam yeti also. I love hem both.

 

lol no but I have heard of a company that has coolers with lights in them/on them.

 

That is such a good idea. And I wasn't hating, mines a boring tan color. Yours will stand out

 

I'll stick with my $129 Igloo. Same as a Yeti without the cost.

 

Nice. Maybe getting some competition will bring the price of the others down a bit.

 

Spent 4 days in Moab. No ice needed. Didn't even think about ice except that my milk started to ice up and my Fiji on the bottom started to freeze. I had to turn down the temp on my ARB fridge. Oh, and no draining water out of it either.

 

I bet those ARB's are nice and would love one of those too one day. But they need to be plugged in and such so they wouldn't be able to do a lot of the things some of these guys are looking for in the "no strings attached" reason for a good cooler. Awesome to hear how good they work though. It is pretty sick!

 

I use this when it's not plugged in to the AC outlet in the bed of my truck. A couple of them would last quite a while in the boonies if so desired.

Just FYI, there's a new contender in the "High End Cooler" market. Siberian Coolers, supposedly comparable to yeti, but about $100 cheaper.

Not too shabby. $400 for an 84 qt. I still need to actually put my hands on one before I would be on board with the thing.

 

I own three yeti's before they went overseas.

I'm still all about the styrofoam coolers.

 

I have seen those Siberian coolers before but never looked into them too much more.

Anywho finally got some wheels made for my Grizzly. Still haven't had the chance to use it as I have been so busy. Sure looks good though and feels hella tough. Can't wait to get out there and use this a bunch so I can give you guys a review on its performance.
