Being new to Tacoma and the vendors with you folks helping me so much with a potential mistake earlier and thank y'all for that very much so thought I would "axe" you again.

I like the style, functionality and the price is within budget for these side steps.
Any issues from this supplier or manufacturer I should know about before ordering? I have spent only a few hours researching this type of product. I am not an off roader and don't feel I need frame mounted rock sliders.

    Thank you in advance

some people have had issues with extreme terrain.

but fair warning, most of the forum seems to be filled to be hardcore california/arizona/nevada/colorado natives that own 100+ acres of offroad parks, so you will be absolutely murdered here for even suggesting any form of running boards.

their idea is that this truck is only owned by king of the hammers participants, that use it specifically to pre-run rock garden sections, so their ONLY answer to the question of what to bolt to the space under the doors is rock rails.

but welcome to the forum. i like running boards because they're easier to get my fat ass into the truck at walmart. because my trucks never seen dirt except when i jumped the curb that one time.

Thank you sir for the warm welcome and I too have a old fat ass and do go to Walmart periodically. I think my 25 pound dog will like the step up too. Currently have to pick him up (sissy boy lol).

My current plan is to go ahead with the running boards/steps but it's too freaking cold to install them so I may wait a week or two to get some more input.

I’d check Craigslist or FB Marketplace as well. OEM Predator steps can be found fairly cheap out in the wild.
