My Chevy was similar. I had a 62 Chevy panel van after my Volkswagen phase. Power nothing and a 4 on the floor with a real man's clutch also and a bench seat like a park bench across the front. When I finally got my 99 Tacoma with the 5-speed I felt like the transmission did on the shifting because it was so easy. If I remember, the C10's had a monster of an engine block.
