    Going though toyota man would be your best bet. They are painted and clear coated which will last a lot longer then just spray painted them, Plus some colors from toyota are harder to match then others. I guess if you dont want to spend the 85 bucks for piece of mind of a good quality product then go the ebay route for... 30 bucks less.

    I dont think painting them would look good or even work... Not for sure anyways.

    Thought I would chime in.

    You get what you pay for when it comes to paint. Yes you can buy the units off of ebay for about $45 and spend another $5 or so on spray paint. Then another $5 on the automotive adhesive to put the lids over the lights. These will look rather good for about 1 year. After that the spray paint will start to fade and possibly chip/crack, or oxide. Then you get to try to sanding and painting all over again. What ever you do, do not try to paint your lens's you won't like the outcome.

    Its your decision about how good you want your truck to look. The lids I use do take a little time to get and paint, but what you get is a quality paint job done at a toyota dealership facility. All the colors are factory matched and cleared. These will last a very long time with proper care.

    If you decide you want to tackle it your self, my hats off to you. If you want to have a perfect long lasting match, come see me.
