Things are shaping up nicely! I like the look so far. I could do without the "objects in mirror...", but I guess most companies do that for liability purposes? People sue for anything nowadays. I really like them without the dividing line for the mirror surfaces. I think it gives a cleaner look and smoother transition. I could also go without the heated element (SoCal), but I know for some of you guys in other parts of the country with actual seasons, it would come in handy. If it doesn't change the price point, I don't really care. I'm still in. I'd be curious to see the issue with the passenger side mirror in person. My OCD tells me that I want both sides to be symmetrical, and It might actually bug me that they weren't, at least until I got used to it. Great job on the pics, Nathan! Gives a very clear view of the product and what it does, just in case there are any non-believers out there.

Believe it or not, the line in the mirrors is laser printed onto the back of the glass. It was a fluke that they were left off of my samples, but I like them this way. I'll be taking the text off of the glass as well. Technically since these mirrors are primarily flat objects aren't closer than they appear.

I did talk with the manufacturer about the issue of not being able to see far enough down on the passenger side. They actually have a solution for that. They make a mirror profile that has a flat main portion, aspherical outer, and a slight bend at the bottom. That slight bend is supposed to solve the issue of having to adjust the mirror to see down. They're sending me another sample to try out. If that doesn't work out I'll opt for aspherical driver and convex passenger.

I don't have a need for the heating element either, but if the price doesn't go up too much I'll go ahead and add it.

I'm looking forward to placing an order and getting these out to you guys.

Been running these mirrors for a few weeks. I love the fact i can see more driving in the hwy. It takes some getting used to. Im please as can be with them. They were easy to install. I can't see much out of the back window due to the mods installed, these mirrors help greatly with thaton the road. I'd would recommend these to any one. I think this should be added to the cheap mods thread.

I'm glad they're working out for you Adrian.

I got word from my manufacturer that the new samples will be shipping out to me next week. Things are moving a little slower than I'd like, but we're getting there. Stay tuned.

Well, after a few setbacks I finally have a tracking number for the new samples. The manufacturer had made up a set for me, but used too high of a heat for the bending process and bubbled the glass. So they had to make a new run for me. I should have the new samples by the end of the week.

These samples have the bottom strip of the mirror curved down along with the aspherical outer section.

I have to say that the removal of the dividing line is the way to go. I don't even see the aspherical part anymore.

Stay tuned, I'm still working on this.

When I got my '11 I bought a set of stick on concave mirrors at wally world for less than $2. They work fine and eliminate blind spots. Many (most?) blind spot problems can be traced to improper alignment of the mirrors by the driver. Can't understand why anyone needs more than a cheap stick on solution unless they have some vision problem.

What sort of vision problem would any mirror help correct?

I have reopened the poll to get an idea of whether folks want heated glass or not. These would be very easy to couple with @Up2NoGood 's heated mirror kit.

Can only vote one option but heated, complete with backing plate would be perfect for me.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I changed it to where you can choose multiple options.

To keep costs down, for both of us, I won't be providing a backing plate. It's actually really easy to swap out the glass in your stock backing plate, so it's not a big issue. I'll be putting the new samples on my truck once it cools down a bit this evening. We'll see if I can some footage of the swap with the gopro.

When I was a kid my father told me that he could lock me in a padded room with a ball bearing and I would either break it, or eat it.

Then the best option for you is to take a hammer to the stock glass and pop in the new one.

Much easier going in that coming out. :D

Looking good Nathan! Did you have your camera mounted on top of your head? It looked really high. I imagined a motorcycle helmet with the go pro mount on top. Haha! Really digging those mirrors though!

Here's what I was using though. I'm sure the folks going past me gave me some looks.
