It won't be much more than the standard mirrors. Maybe a $10 difference. I will confirm that once I get final pricing from the manufacturer.

BentViewMirror. Or BendViewMirror. Or BlindViewMirror Like rear view mirror. I'm kinda serious. They are basically a mirror that is bent. I like the idea, and I think the pricing is reasonable. Looking forward to hearing more.

A forward angle, and can still see the vehicle.

I have MUCH more confidence in lane changing now. I'm drive with a sense of purpose, and these mirrors make me feel much safer for myself, my property, as well as the other commuters on the road. I approve.

Great shot Mark! That shows that you'll see the car out your window before you lose it in the mirror.

Any chance you could get these for an FJ's mirrors? I think you'd have a huge market there.

Interesting. If you need a tester.....

I've got my mirrors adjusted to what I think is an ok compromise, and I don't think the blind spot is as bad as people make it out to be, but it could certainly be improved upon.

I should also add that my picture doesn't effectively represent the blind spot caused by the access door pillar. Especially with my seating positioned forward towards the steering wheel.

That is what makes the blind spot so much a blind spot. I only have a small portion of visible space between the seat and that pillar.

That is where these mirrors shine.

I'm getting closer to the final pricing. It looks like the non-heated mirrors are going to run $35 a set and the heated mirrors will be $50 a set. My cost on the heated mirrors is double the standards, but I don't think anyone is going to spend $70 on a set.

    What do you guys think?

Sounds good Nathan! That's remarkably close to the original estimate you came up with at the beginning of this...

I'm using stick on blind spot mirrors on both sides. The "Objects are Close Than They Appear" right mirror needs a blind spot mirror too. I don't like the stock right mirror because everything is too small and the blind spot isn't completely visible. Objects in the right mirror are small when backing up.

Will aspherical mirror remedy these shortcomings?

    I'm interested.

    In short, yes.

Both mirrors have the same profile; flat inner, aspherical outer, and bent down lower. The image in the mirror is true to size, and not reduced like the standard convex mirror. That means the image in the mirror is larger than what you have now.

I think that's very reasonable pricing. I need to check on the cost of the non mirror portion of heated mirrors...
