Travel the country looking for survivors. Maybe squat in a mansion in Malibu. Sit in a margarita pool. Elect myself as President....

I'm gonna bow out and just try to be positive for my family then. Good luck and God speed.

Buy food I can digest again. Don't get me wrong, playing chopped at the grocery store is fun and all when cooking for other people, but having a paralyzed stomach and everyone panic buying the only few things you can eat... Not fun. Worse than knowing you're high risk tbh.

I'll also have a postponed concert and some craft fairs that will hopefully be rescheduled. Lots to look forward to, but probably further out than currently projected.

For perspective. Some of us are under a travel restriction and can’t travel further than 25 miles from our home or to work. My son is 750 miles away with a autoimmune disease so I got that weighing on my mind and can’t really do anything about it as he sheltered in place in one of these western state’s.

This shit sucks ass and is scary for a lot of us.

We're in this together. I think this thread was intended to give us some hope for when we have beaten this thing. At least that's how I took it.

Edit: my 88 yo mom is in isolation. I can only talk to her on the phone. I kinda get it.

This definitely tougher for some than others. My sister was laid off and she’s not quite sure what she’s going to do. Whereas my wife and I as I said in a previous post is business as usual (essential staff type deal). Hope things look up quickly for us all! Sorry you’re in a crappy situation

I can’t imagine being in a situation where I’m in a service industry and rely on business to pay my bills.

It’s all perspective and we all have our own. The real issue is those out of work and not getting paid!

In California, we're broken, thank you hoarders. Spent 4 shopping trips looking to find a loaf of bread. I was going to bring a peanut butter burrito for lunch Friday, had nothing instead. Last Sunday, went in a store, shelves were empty except the strange things nobody wants like chocolate hummus.

Once the hoarders are done buying 5 years worth of toilet paper and whatever their twisted minds think they need, I'll go shopping for basics like tooth paste, drinking water, bread, and such. My life is overwhelmingly busy without this stupidity. I hope for normalcy so I can reach up to almost touch bottom again.

I've tried to do my part to help. Before they shut down the restaurant's, I was having breakfast, asked the manager how many servers he had on, he said usually 5, but only 3. So I gave 10 bucks to each. A local school is handing out free lunches for the kids who rely on the free meal at school to get by. I bought a big box of individually wrapped cookies to donate. When I did go shopping, I purchased no more than a weeks supply of any item.

We are ordering take out more often, since eat in is closed, than we would normally, and doubling down on tips to try to keep our favs in business.

By the time it ends most likely, the next flu season will be upon us once again fueling the fears.

Haha. Such a great show. Was always so frustrated for him that he didn’t get January Jones. Then I was so mad when Todd couldn’t handle her. Ha
