you are right, but if people just stopped installing every lil piece of software they can get their hands on their windows machines would not decrease in speed at all, cause after all its no the physical computer slowing down its just the fact the end user has installed way more apps that are running in the background than the comp can handle. Its really up to the end user, in a mac invironment they are giving litterally no options, which means they have no way to screw things up.

I do not agree, well.. in part... if you are surfing the Web with PC.. it will Slow Down. And yes, Apple is like culture.. I am not one of those people.. just sic of Windows, and ready for any alternative that comes along. Viruses and Malware will catch up to MAC someday as they are growing in leaps and bounds in the "home" computer industry.

This wouldn't be fair... end user vs. sr. systems administrator. Just know this...

80% of this world uses windows and 6% use apple. I wonder why?

Its obvious why you see so many more viruses for windows... if I'm a hacker, why in the world would I target such a small community? Your right though, someone like you is much better off with a mac. Now go see your Apple Genius at the world famous iBar. :D

Ironically, I am stuck in an Airport waiting for a flight home typing on a Thinkpad running XP.. they are not all bad, just more fustrating than a MAC.

Why would I even try? For the same amount of work, I can target 15x more people. :D

Plus, the majority of apple users are computer illiterate, that's why they get a mac. Hacking a mac user would be too easy.

Grrr... I gotta go catch a flight. I have to admit, that culture does seem a little gay... I was an MS-DOS kid when Windows was 3.1... I hated the limitations of Windows.. always have. Now you can't really do business without them it seems. If you make software, you have to cater to the masses.
