I didn’t remove shit, so maybe ima a dumbass.. it fits for the most part, seams to be either the holes for the front are in the wrong place or it’s a bit too short on the belly. I’ll check for the crossbraces tomorrow.. but even then I don’t think so.. it sits as far forward as possible on the back side

 

There will be two stock crossmembers in the front that need to be removed for the front skid... the back will bolt up and then it’ll look like your about 2 inches from the front with no bolt holes cause the crossmembers are bolted into those holes. Hope that’s it!

 

I may or may not have tried to install mine without removing the factory skid or anything else first...

 

Just gotta own it! Why you think I know so much about the crossmembers!

 

unfortunately no.. it’s the mid skid union between it and the front skid, IMO the belly is about 3/4” to short, couldn’t fit the supplied hardware into the holes.. I said fuck it and downsized bolts and reamed that shit out.. no time to wait I’m going to windrock in two weeks

 

Removed the two cross braces on for the mid left and right as well? Not saying that is it!? Just hoping for the easy solution!

 

I didn’t remove any cross braces for the mid skid I’ll have to look for them. Maybe I need to loosen the ifs skid aswell? I may have it pushed to far forward? I’ll check tomorrow

 

Hope that’s it man! There are 4 total braces to remove for the front/mid. 2nd & 3rd gen.

Don’t think I can recall him ever having fitment issues on the mid. On the ifs yea.

 

Windrock is good times. Only been once but really want to go back.

I didn’t remove the cross braces in the rear so that may be it, but I’m not convinced as it honestly seems to short he gave me 3/4” bolts and there’s no way I see making up that 1/2” I need to set them I reamed it out a bit to fit a 3/8” bolt

 

What’s the word on the welder contact?!
