Maybe so, but 180 hp from a turbo? I would love to see it.

Front axle is on the other side, but if you were going to switch to a sas then you could pick your axle. ( ford, chevy, dodge ect.)

your kidding right?? My turbo setup on my Supra with a 3.0L inline six with a 67mm turbo it will add about 200-250hp from its stock setup at only 18-20psi. So around 500 totally hp. And thats just a 67mm(still large) but that would be a great size for this motor. Would spool fast. You can get freakin huge turbos too. If you know what your doing..could easily double this motors hp with a good turbo and all the supporting mods...granted thats prolly gonna be like 20k or so but still..very possible with a turbo.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
What model is the vehicle? AC, DC? Is the rear driveshaft for the 05 the same as the 09? I need a new one for my DCSB because the rubber boot was torn when an ice block hit the shield and bent it in. Dealer wanted $1200 to replace the whole piece. Figured I could do it myself along with the help of a friend. Also where in Nor-Cal are you?

It was in an access cab, not sure if they are the same 05,09, but I did measure and it was 68 inches, flange to flange, I'm in Petaluma, ? $1200 for just the rubber wtf? Hope this helps

Hmm...Maybe someone else will chime in for the fit. I really think the reg cab is the only model with a different driveshaft but I need to do more research. Supposidly they said you can't just replace the rubber you need to replace the whole assembly. Hence the $1200...

If it does fit the 2 hr drive would be worth the trip...Still cheaper than paying for a new one plus install.

Bump for Hayhog, this guy is legit and has some hard to find parts, Chances are he has the parts you need/ want and at a reasonable cost. the time to buy is now because 2nd gen Tacoma parts are rare.

What is shipping going to cost you?
If you lived way closer I would definitely consider taking this motor off your hands.
